Preet Sidhu is not just a pharmacist — she is a healthcare champion, community connector, mentor & Adjunct Professor at the University of Ottawa. With over 20 years of pharmaceutical experience, Preet founded Longfields Pharmacy in Nepean with a mission that has never wavered: to provide Ottawa residents with the kind of personalized, thoughtful pharmacy care that makes a genuine difference.
Known for her approachability, clinical expertise, and deep connections within the Ottawa and Barrhaven communities, Preet has built Longfields into a trusted destination where patients feel heard, respected, and cared for. She takes the time to know each patient — their health history, their concerns, and their goals.
Beyond direct patient care, Preet is passionate about education and mentorship. Longfields Pharmacy is proudly one of the top co-op destinations for University of Toronto pharmacy students, as well as a welcoming learning environment for local high school students completing their co-op terms. Preet is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Ottawa.
With 28 years of experience as a pharmacist, Kathy ensures that Longfields Pharmacy operates seamlessly day to day. Her expertise in compounding and patient counselling makes her an invaluable member of our team. Fluent in French, Kathy is happy to serve francophone patients in their preferred language.
Palak is one of our most valued pharmacy assistants, bringing warmth, dedication, and precision to every interaction. Together with Kathy and the team, Palak helps ensure every patient receives prompt, attentive, and caring service — every single visit.
